THE PROCESS

• Customer supplies full sized digital file (i.e. 20"x30" at 300 dots per inch), and a print to match. Hunter Editions complete's the proofing from there.
  • Proceed to "Upload Your Files" and follow directions to send your digital file to us, or burn file to a CD and send in along with your matchprint.
  • Once materials are received, we will print your proof then send back the printed proof and matchprint for comparison.
  • Once you approve the proof we will print your final version at full size.
• Or, the customer does all work. Hunter Editions acts as offsite personal printer.
  • Download from our website the appropriate paper profile, (pick the profile for the paper and printer you will be printing on.)
  • After unzipping the file, install the profile in your computers appropriate folder. See where to put your profile on our profiles page.
  • Take your full-size RGB file i.e. 20"x30" at 300 dots per inch and convert it to CMYK by using Photoshop and going to Image/Mode/Convert to Profile
  • Choose your Destination Space, use 'Adobe Ace' as the color engine, 'Relative Colorimetric' for intent and click on both 'Black Point Compensation' and 'Dither.' Press Okay.
  • Save Full-Size CMYK file. Size image down to proof size of 10" long dimension at 300 dots per inch and save this as your separate proof file.
  • Upload proof file to us. We will print and mail proof back to you.
  • When proof is approved please send us the full size file on CD or via upload and we will print the job for you.
